The Center for Reproductive Rights is urging Congress to pass the Responsible Education About Life (REAL) Act, which would provide federal money to support responsible sex education in schools, including science-based, medically accurate, and age-appropriate public health information about both abstinence and contraception.
Studies have shown that abstinence-only programs are ineffective. Investing in comprehensive sex-ed for our teenagers is just common sense.
